The 30 Greatest Comedy Movies Of All-Time

29. Shaun of the Dead (2004)

Over the years, Shaun of the Dead has become a cult classic to many – spanning a wide age range in the process. However, it should be regarded as more than just a cult phenomenon. Zombie apocalypses are a common tale in the cinema, but this Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright creation is comic genius in a number of ways. Waiting out the potential end of the world in a bar makes sense, right? It’s also a successful underdog film where we find it easy to root for underachievers Shaun (Pegg) and Ed (Nick Frost).
