The inner circle of celebrity bodyguards is a tight-knit group. As such, you may see one servicing any number of different stars in Hollywood. This is the case with Adele’s current security lead, Pete Van Der Veen. The Holland-born bodyguard formerly worked the same job for Lady Gaga.
The pair even grew so close that he lent his voice as background vocals for Gaga’s 2011 song “Government Hooker”. Word of mouth spreads quickly in Hollywood circles, as Van Der Veen enters with excellent reviews. He provides pristine service for Adele as she travels through town with her boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul.
