Four WWE Matches We’d Love to See in 2024

The WWE Universe is a hot product at the moment. Between Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, there’s no shortage of high-level performers. This article is going to a bit of speculation. Which four matches would you like to see? We break down four hypothetical bouts that would surely positively draw plenty of attention, while also offering a glimpse into potential title matchups down the line.

Big Bronson Reed vs. Seth Rollins

This one seems inevitable. Wanting to make a name for himself, Big Bronson Reed attacked Seth Rollins out of nowhere — unleashing six devastating tsunami splashes. In the process, he had Rollins spitting up blood in the aftermath of injured ribs. This was one of the most-watched segments in months on WWE programming, and it effectively put Reed over as a devastatingly violent heel. The next step in further putting Reed over would involve squaring off 1v1 versus Rollins in a singles match. Rollins would likely win, but it would signify Reed as a real player for a belt sooner rather than later. The juxtaposition between Rollins and his eclectic presentation versus the brute strength and muscle of Reed would be aesthetically fun to watch unfold.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Nia Jax

This is another match we’re expecting to see sooner rather than later. Stratton is red-hot right now with the fan base. Her gymnastics background coupled with her model looks has made her a rising star in the industry. Being the Money in the Bank winner, she can cash in at any time. The interesting wrinkle here is the friendship Jax and Stratton have. There have been a few close calls where it appeared as if Stratton was to take advantage of a wounded Jax before common sense got the better of here.

It’s inevitable for these two to square off, and when they do, there should be plenty of fireworks. Jax has improved since coming back from a lengthy hiatus months ago. We’d even love to see a side-angle where she ends up joining The Bloodline as the female enforcer a la what Chyna was to DX.

Bron Breakker vs. Jacob Fatu

This one is a no-brainer. We’ve got two of the biggest rising stars in the business hailing from famous wrestling families. Bron Breakker — son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner — has taken the WWE Universe by storm. His combination of physicality and athleticism is sublime. When factoring in his look and impressive mic skills, there’s no doubt he’s destined to be the holder of the World Title one day. The same could be said for Fatu, an equally impressive athlete of his size.

Hailing from the famed Anoa’i family, Fatu arguably has the best natural skill set of any relative in the business today. His menacing look adds a touch of aura. Not to mention, Jacob hasn’t even scratched the surface as to how good he is on the mic. We pray these two square off one day…it could be on the level of The Rock versus Stone Cold Steve Austin if both continue on the trajectories they’re headed.

Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill

The pure look of this match would be fun. Ripley is as good a female wrestler as there is in the world. She sells exceptionally well, is very technically gifted, and her naturally powerful frame enables her to manhandle opponents in the ring. Not only that, but her unique look resonates with fans all over the world. Cargill may be a bit green, but she looks like a Greek Goddess. As she continues to pick up in-ring experience, these two could collide with one another down the line in what would be a truly fascinating match. Power versus power in the best way possible — which would only be accentuated by the juxtaposition in how both are presented.
