The Road to WrestleMania is upon us!
One of WWE’s most exciting annual events is the Royal Rumble. The 2024 installment should be no different, as there are plenty of intriguing storylines for this year’s card.
We will break down all four matches slated for Saturday’s event — including predictions, possible inclusions, and much more!

30-Woman Royal Rumble Match

The women’s Royal Rumble will be very fascinating. Known participants in the event include Bianca Belair, Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Nia Jax. Jax and Lynch have had their rivalry inflamed in recent weeks. Bayley is on a mission to take down Rhea Ripley, and Belair is looking to establish herself yet again as a top performer in the company.
It will be fascinating to see the eventual participants in this match. Will WWE unveil Jade Cargill for the first time? Will Liv Morgan make her return to the ring? Is there an outside chance Sasha Banks will shock everyone and return to WWE? The possibilities with this red-hot division are truly endless.
Multiple oddsmakers have Bayley as the favorite here. We’ve seen seeds planted to suggest the Damage CTRL faction could be coming to an end. If Bayley wins here, she could challenge fellow faction member Iyo Sky at WrestleMania.
This seems like an obvious route to take. If we’ve seen anything from the creative direction of the company in recent months, the obvious might not be overly obvious to them. Seeing Becky Lynch get in the ring with Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania could be a historic event for both the division and the company.
Prediction: Becky Lynch wins
United States Championship Match: Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul (C)

If anything, this should be a very entertaining match.
You’ve got two of the biggest showmen in the sport battling here for the U.S. Championship belt. Kevin Owens is not only extremely well-liked, but he wrestles with a workmanlike approach people love. As we’ve seen throughout his short professional wrestling career, Paul is a showstopper on all levels.
Not only does he demonstrate some impressive technical ability in the ring, but his acrobatic prowess is truly dynamic. Few — if any — come close to having his combination of size and athleticism. That’s saying something considering he’s not a full-time wrestler.
Paul has proven to be a draw for fans. At his age, he’s only scratching the surface as to how good he can eventually be. There’s no doubt these two will put on a great show — with Paul retaining his belt.
Prediction: Logan Paul wins
Fatal 4-Way Match For The Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: AJ Styles vs. LA Knight vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns (C)

Reigns wouldn’t drop the belt with WrestleMania so close…would he?
The recent appearance of The Rock has people wondering whether the iconic performer could indeed interfere in this match — leading to his real-life cousin dropping the belt and thus paving the way for what would be a monumental WrestleMania match between the two.
Crazier things have happened in this industry. The likelihood of Reigns dropping the belt is considerably low. With the amount of in-ring experience and professionalism between Styles, Orton, and LA Knight, this should still be a banger of a match. Ultimately, Reigns will eke out the victory.
Prediction: Roman Reigns wins
30-Man Royal Rumble Match

The promo on RAW this past Monday between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes truly sets the scene for this to be a memorable match.
Sure, we’ll get the unexpected entries featuring wrestlers from past eras (perhaps Hulk Hogan?), wrestlers coming back from injury, and those who will be comedically squashed virtually upon entering the ring.
The real excitement will come when these two inevitably face off in the squared circle. This will be Punk’s first real foray back into the ring since rejoining WWE months ago. Punk is the betting favorite to win this match ultimately — though it would not be shocking to see Rhodes come out on top.
Prediction: CM Punk wins
