VIDEO: Butler Player Spikes Shot-Attempt into the Ground

Butler forward Tyler Wideman prides himself on being a good defensive player.

During the first half of the contest between the No. 4 Bulldogs and No. 13 Winthrop, Wideman introduced himself to Winthrop star guard Keon Johnson in a rather rude way:

The 5’7″ guard is Winthrop’s leading scorer — averaging 22.5 points per game. The 6’8″ Wideman didn’t care too much, as he spiked Johnson’s shot viciously into the ground.

At halftime, Butler is up on Winthrop by a score of 41-27.
