22. Maryland Terrapins
Maryland endured a massive overhaul to their rotation over the past year, and are just now starting to get their footing in the new college basketball season. With the departure of key upperclassmen in Robert Carter, Jake Layman, and Rasheed Sulaimon, the Terps have to rely on a slew of freshman surrounding lead guard and star player, Melo Trimble. Lack of experience could prove to be Maryland’s ultimate downfall, but Trimble gives this team a chance to win on any given night.

21. Xavier Musketeers
The Musketeers have suffered a tough January, dropping narrow losses against some of the nation’s best teams. A lone blemish against a mediocre Colorado team remains Xavier’s only “bad” loss, and they’ll have the opportunity to make up for the Nova, Butler and Creighton defeats in February. Xavier was dealt a major blow with senior guard Myles Davis leaving the team, but the Musketeers have the depth and talent to still compete this postseason.
