10. T.J. Leaf – F – UCLA
The freshman out of San Diego has been exceptionally good for UCLA this past season.
On the year, the 6’10” big man is shooting 61.8-percent from the field and 43.5-percent from three-point range. He’s very skilled and crafty around the rim — utilizing both hands when finishing in traffic. Leaf is also much more athletic and fluid than given credit for.
Leaf will have to get bigger and stronger to combat the physical rigors of the NBA. With that said, there are few prospects as skilled as Leaf in this field. In terms of a draft positioning, Leaf could go anywhere from the 13-25 range in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft. A strong postseason tournament could help his stock even further.
