RANKED: The 18 Most Important Players in March Madness

14. Bonzie Colson – F – Notre Dame

Notable stats: Led ACC in Double-Doubles, 17.5 PPG, 10.2 RPG

At 6’5″, Colson is a total enigma. He plays much bigger than his size would indicate. On a team loaded with three-point shooters, Colson is the unquestioned presence down low for Notre Dame. He could ultimately be a handful for a number of teams in the Fighting Irish’s region — including West Virginia and Gonzaga.

13. De’Aaron Fox – G – Kentucky

Notable stats: 16.1 PPG, 4.8 APG, shooting 47.5-percent on 2-point attempts

Along with Malik Monk, Fox will try and guide the baby ‘Cats through a very tough South region — which includes potential matchups versus Wichita State, UCLA, and North Carolina. Fox shined in the SEC tournament, using his quickness and agility to thrive when attacking the rim. Kentucky will need his playmaking ability if they’ve got any chance at reaching the Final Four.
