Back to School – The 25 Best Returning Players in College Basketball

24. Adam Miller, LSU

2020-21 Stats: 8.3 PPG, 2.8 RPG, 0.8 APG, 0.6 SPG, 31 games played

Another player who will have a larger role with his team this season. Much like Baylor’s Mayer, Adam Miller was a valuable role player for one of the best team’s in the country last year. Playing off of creators Ayo Dosunmu and Andre Curbelo, Miller was an adequate spot-up shooter who made 52 threes as a freshman. He’s a lefty with excellent range that extends beyond the NBA three-point line.

After one year at Illinois, the Peoria native decided to transfer to LSU — most likely to receive a bigger ball handling role. It’s going to be interesting to watch the offense run through Miller more often. He’s perfectly capable of creating his own shot against stingy defense, but his lousy assist rate is a bit alarming. If Miller can flash more playmaking ability, LSU will be a team to watch in the SEC.
