Ranking The Top 40 Players At The 2018 World Cup

38. James Rodríguez: Colombia

If one were to rewind four years back to the last World Cup in Brazil, James was on the cusp of global superstardom. The Colombian made the high profile move to Real Madrid — which could only be categorized as volatile. After toiling in and out of the starting XI, it appears as if James has found a home with German giant Bayern Munich. He accrued seven goals and 11 assists in only 23 matches. At this point, James is good enough to provide Colombia with some real magic — particularly since the offense still runs though him.
