If you solely take the Jaguars’ first two selections into consideration, they probably deserve a higher grade. Josh Allen falling into their laps at No. 7 was a home run for Jacksonville. Although they don’t have a pressing need for an edge-rusher, being able to secure a talent like Allen at that spot is a tremendous boon. Selecting right tackle Jawaan Taylor in the second round was a crucial pick for the team. Taylor should immediately help the O-line and help bolster the Jags run-first motto. The middle rounds weren’t as kind to Jacksonville. Josh Oliver, a TE out of San Jose State, is promising from an athletic standpoint but lacks the blocking skills necessary for a run-heavy team.
