2. Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers
2016 stats: 401-for-610 (65.7%), 4,428 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, 7 interceptions, 67 carries, 369 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns
It may feel like ages ago, but there was legitimate concern midway through the 2016 season that Aaron Rodgers’ best days were officially behind him. Instead, Rodgers went on a ridiculous run the second half of the season, guiding the Packers to six straight victories to close out the season in which he threw 15 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Couple that with Rodgers’ stellar play in the postseason, and it’s safe to say Green Bay’s signal caller is in peak form. Even though he doesn’t take the top spot, Rodgers remains the most physically gifted quarterback in the league, thanks to his rocket arm and underappreciated mobility. Capable of making throws no other quarterback would even dream of (including the next player on this list), there’s a strong chance Rodgers dethrones #1 on this list in 2017.
