New Arena’s Top 25 College Football Poll After Week 3

24. Kansas State Wildcats

19 Record: 3-0
Week 3 Result: Defeated Mississippi State 31-24
Top Performer: Malik Knowles — Kick Returner
Up Next: BYE

Not only was Kansas State able to send Bulldogs’ backup quarterback Garrett Shrader into orbit, but the Wildcats were also able to secure their first road win against an SEC opponent in school history. Both teams were sloppy offensively and ended the day with three turnovers a piece. However, the biggest play of the game was made by a K-State player. Moments after kicker Jace Christmann gave the Bulldogs a seven-point lead, Malik Knowles returned a kickoff 100 yards to tie the game for the Wildcats. If K-State is able to pick up a win over Oklahoma State in two weeks, they will have a solid claim to be seen as the third-best team in the Big 12.
