The highly anticipated workout of PG Lonzo Ball with the Los Angeles Lakers officially occurred on Wednesday morning.
Ball went through a strenuous morning workout -- focusing primarily on shooting drills and his ability to shoot the ball off the dribble. On Tuesday evening, Ball enjoyed a dinner with head coach Luke Walton, general manager Rob Pelinka, and team president Magic Johnson (there's no word on whether LaVar Ball was in attendance or not).
At the conclusion of this workout, Ball was slated to enjoy lunch with three members of the Buss family (not including Jim). He answered a myriad of questions pertaining to his interest in the franchise -- as well as what he would bring to the team.
D'Angelo Russell probably didn't like his answer to that question:
"They need a leader. They need a point guard. I feel like I can fill that hole."
