23. Devin Booker
The Phoenix Suns got a steal with the 13th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. Other than Minnesota (Karl-Anthony Towns) and New York (Kristaps Porzingis), every other team situated in the lottery drafted a player that is considerably worse than Booker. Phoenix’s lead guard is an excellent offensive player with a modern skill-set. He operates well in the pick-and-roll, hits threes, and plays at a controlled pace. Averaging 25 points per game at 21 years old is certainly nothing to scoff at.
Where Booker falters is on the defensive end. He can’t really guard any position, despite possessing the adequate size and length to be able to matchup with wings. Phoenix hasn’t done a great job of surrounding Booker with talent, but he’s a consensus top-25 player that hasn’t even won 25 games in a season yet.
