All 30 NBA Head Coaches, Ranked

29. Jim Boylen — Chicago Bulls

Head Coaching Experience(s): Chicago Bulls (2018-)
Head Coaching Record: 17-41 (reg. season), 0-0 (postseason)
Accolades: Assistant coach for Houston Rockets (1992-2003), Golden State Warriors (2003-2004), Milwaukee Bucks (2004-2005), Indiana Pacers (2011-2013), and San Antonio Spurs (2013-2015); three-time NBA Champion as assistant

Boylen was thrust into the role of head coach after Fred Hoiberg was fired following a rocky 5-19 start to the 2018 season. Though Boylen’s coaching tactics have come into question, the young Bulls competed down the stretch and looked to be a far more disciplined team under Boylen’s tutelage. With an improved roster entering the upcoming season, Boylen will be under a massive microscope.
