20 Facts About Seinfeld Even The Biggest Fans Didn’t Know

No Soup For Jerry

“The Soup Nazi” is likely the most famous episode from the Seinfeld series. The on-screen soup nazi (played by Larry Thomas) was actually based off NYC restaurant owner Al Yeganeh. When Jerry Seinfeld visited the real-life restaurant, Yeganeh was none too pleased. He unloaded on Seinfeld with a profanity-laden rant. Yeganeh did not like how he was portrayed on the show. He then unleashed the “No soup for you” line before kicking Seinfeld out of his restaurant.
